The Eternal Simulation Project
The Eternal Simulation Project explores not only what we represent of our hydrological environment but also how we represent and who has power over that act of representation. As debate of environmental issues move from a-political realms of scientific fact to highly political realms of communal and individual experience, the Eternal Simulation Project purposefully conflates simulation with reality to (secretly) empower the public over institutions and their public engagement strategies. In this simulation, community leaders negotiate water rights through the location of symbolic objects at multiple recursive scales.
