Waste, Not Waste
This primer examines sites that flip “waste” on its head, where modes of occupation temporarily tranform “waste” into alternate forms of value. These are sites where communities use “waste” to activate social and material exchange, where people carve out public freedoms from space or time or effort that might otherwise be considered waste.
